The Shrine of Remembrance
is planning to be big,
REAL BIG!!

If it manages to secure 30 million dollars in funding from the Australian government the Shrine of Remembrance will carry out a planned extension worth $62 Million! - It will put it in line with other world class memorials and challenge Canberra for the title of Australias most impressive war memorial.

The Shrine trustees expanded the Shrine in 2003 with the construction of a huge visitors centre built underneath the original building. It boasts an education centre, display galleries , a gift shop and a media presentation area with an underground cinema. Now it plans to duplicate the project at the rear of the building and more!...
